Vukuzenzele Chris Auto, is a 35% black owned company and was first established as a branch of Chris Auto Electrical in 1994. It was converted into a fully fledged Pty (Ltd) auto electrical company in it’s own right during 2008.

Vukuzenzele Chris Auto opened it’s first branch in the Vaal area during 2014 to better service our regular and mine-based clients in the area.

Company History

Vukuzenzele is just one of 4 companies that have evolved out of Chris Auto Electrical – CAELEX in Pretoria, that supply a service or Spares to all the regions of South Africa. In 2008, it was decided that the Witbank Branch of Chris Auto Electrical which was established in 1994, should become an entity in it’s own right.

This lead to the birth of Vukuzenzele Chris Auto, an independent entity. VUKUZENZELE means “Get up and do something for yourself!”, endorsing the spirit of making things happen! In June 2014, Vukuzenzele Chris Auto was converted to a PTY (LTD), 35% black owned company.

Our Witbank Branch recently relocated to new premises and our Vaal was branch was opened in 2014k, which is now situated in Vereenging.

Vukuzenzele Chris Auto is a supplier of Auto Electrical Parts for most makes of Cars, Light Commercial Vehicles, Commercial/Trucks & Earth Moving vehicles.

Vukuzenzele furthermore Sub Contracts CAELEX in Pretoria to do the Rewinding of Stators, Rotors, Armatures & Field Coils plus the re-manufacturing of Bendix Drives, Starters & Alternators for Vukuzenzele’s Mpumalanga and Free State Customers.

Product Range

CAELEX, is a premium supplier of high quality auto electrical parts and services to auto electricians, fleets and mines around South Africa.

We stock light duty and heavy duty starter motors and alternators, from city runabouts to the enormous heavy duty earthmoving machinery of South Africa’s biggest mines, we have the units you are looking for.

If there is something we don’t have in stock, we’ll get it for you. “Call CAELEX, they probably have it” is our anthem. We are very proud to have become the “go to” company if you are looking for something that’s not readily or easily available. Our sales team and buying department are a formidable force at sourcing and sniffing out rare or special components.

Remanufacturing
On our 2500sqm premises, we also repair and remanufacture starters, alternators and generators of all shapes and sizes in our unit remanufacturing workshop. We also also have an on-site rewinding and bendix rebuilding facility that can repair or remanufacture field coils, armatures, solenoids, stators, rotors and bendix drives.
